Subscriptions Policy

By purchasing a subscription or pre-order from Brytelabs®, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Subscriptions Policy in their entirety. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
Some products offered by Brytelabs® are available as subscriptions or pre-orders. This policy sets out your rights and obligations in relation to those purchase types. Please read it carefully before completing your purchase.
1. Subscription Orders
When you purchase a subscription from Brytelabs®, you are entering into a recurring billing arrangement under which you will receive periodic deliveries of the selected product(s) at the frequency and for the duration selected at checkout.
By completing a subscription purchase, you expressly authorise Brytelabs® to charge your nominated payment method on a recurring basis in accordance with the billing schedule disclosed at checkout. This authorisation remains in effect until you cancel your subscription in accordance with Section 3 of this policy.
2. Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled by you prior to the renewal date. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree that your subscription will continue to renew and you will continue to be charged at the applicable subscription rate until you cancel.
You will receive an email notification prior to each upcoming charge. It is your responsibility to monitor these notifications. Brytelabs® is not liable for charges incurred due to a failure to cancel before a renewal date.
Brytelabs® reserves the right to modify subscription pricing with reasonable prior notice. Continued use of the subscription following notice of a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing. If you do not accept the new price, you must cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
3. Cancellation & Modification
You may cancel or modify your subscription by either of the following methods:
- Sending a written cancellation request to support@brytelabs.shop with at least 3 business days' notice prior to your next scheduled renewal or charge date, clearly stating your order number and intention to cancel; or
- Using the "Manage Subscription" link available in your order confirmation emails or in the footer of our website at cancel.thebrytelabs.com/login to update, pause, or cancel your subscription directly.
⚠️ Cancellation requests received less than 3 business days before your next renewal date may not be processed in time to prevent the upcoming charge. Brytelabs® is not obligated to refund charges that have already been processed where insufficient notice was provided. It is your sole responsibility to cancel with adequate notice.
Cancellation of a subscription takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to receive deliveries and be charged until that period concludes. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.
Pausing a subscription does not constitute cancellation. Charges will resume automatically when the pause period ends. It is your responsibility to cancel if you do not wish the subscription to resume.
4. Failed Payments
If a scheduled subscription payment fails for any reason, Brytelabs® reserves the right to:
- Retry the charge on subsequent days
- Suspend or cancel the subscription pending payment resolution
- Contact you to update your payment details
Brytelabs® is not liable for any interruption to subscription services resulting from payment failure. It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient funds and valid payment details are available on each billing date.
5. Refunds on Subscription Charges
Charges that have already been processed for a subscription order are generally non-refundable once the associated order has entered processing or fulfilment. Refunds for subscription orders are governed exclusively by our Refund & Returns Policy.
Brytelabs® does not issue refunds for subscription charges where:
- The cancellation request was submitted after the charge had already processed
- Insufficient cancellation notice was provided as required under Section 3
- The customer failed to cancel despite having received renewal notification emails
Any refunds issued at Brytelabs®'s discretion do not constitute a waiver of this policy or an obligation to issue future refunds in similar circumstances.
6. Subscription Modifications by Brytelabs®
Brytelabs® reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any subscription product or plan at any time. In the event of discontinuation, we will provide reasonable notice and you will not be charged for any unfulfilled subscription periods. Where a prepaid subscription is affected, we will issue a pro-rated refund for undelivered periods at our discretion.
7. Pre-Orders
7.1 Nature of Pre-Orders
A pre-order is an advance purchase of a product that is not yet available for immediate shipment. By placing a pre-order, you are committing to purchase the product once it becomes available. Pre-orders are subject to estimated delivery timelines, which are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
Brytelabs® may, depending on the product and payment method:
- Collect no payment at the time of order and charge your payment method in full when the item is ready to ship
- Collect a partial deposit at the time of order and charge the remaining balance when the item is ready to ship
- Collect payment in full at the time of order
The payment terms applicable to your pre-order will be clearly disclosed at checkout. By completing a pre-order, you authorise Brytelabs® to charge your nominated payment method in accordance with those terms.
7.2 Pre-Order Cancellation
You may cancel a pre-order that has not yet been fulfilled or dispatched by contacting us at support@brytelabs.shop with your order number and a written cancellation request.
Once a pre-order has been fulfilled and dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. In such circumstances, you may request a return and refund in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy, subject to the eligibility criteria set out therein.
If Brytelabs® is unable to fulfil a pre-order (for example, due to permanent discontinuation of the product), we will notify you and issue a full refund of any amounts charged.
7.3 Pre-Order Deposits & Payments
Deposits paid on pre-orders are non-refundable once the pre-order has entered production or fulfilment preparation, except where Brytelabs® cancels or is unable to fulfil the order. Full pre-order payments are subject to the same conditions. Any exceptions are at Brytelabs®'s sole discretion.
8. Dispute Resolution
If you believe a charge has been made in error, you must contact Brytelabs® at support@brytelabs.shop before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card provider. Brytelabs® will investigate all good-faith billing enquiries promptly.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Brytelabs® may result in the suspension of your account and any active subscriptions. Brytelabs® reserves the right to dispute chargebacks where the charge was made in accordance with this policy and the customer's prior authorisation.
9. Governing Law
This Subscriptions Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Brytelabs® operates. Any disputes arising in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
10. Changes to This Policy
Brytelabs® reserves the right to modify or update this Subscriptions Policy at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of subscription or pre-order services following any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically.
